We have a Chicco travel system. I'm flying to Colorado tomorrow. I know I can being the stroller to the gate and they give it back when you land. But what about the car seat? Do you check it like baggage at the ticket counter or is it just like the stroller- it goes with you up to the gate? Tia sorry typing in the phone...

Did you buy a seat for the baby? If so, you can take it on and strap it in like normal. If not, I would assume you check it.
You might want a bag to wrap around the seat (like a trash bag or something less klassy) since the undercarriage of the plane is pretty nasty.
