rp:an odd bruise

my 15 month old has a bruise that covers most of the bottom of her foot. it wasn't there this morning, but is deep blue this evening at bedtime. I've been with her all day and have no idea how she did this. it doesnt feel like it has a hard center so no bite i don't think... and doesnt seem to hurt to touch for her. should i be worried about a clot or anything else when its so deep blue and so large?

    I would call the Ped just in case. Are you sure it's a bruise and not some sort of ink or something? Could it be from a marker and some of the ink rubbed off??

    no marker play. we thought maybe she stepped on a blueberry from dinner but it didnt rub off with a wipe.
