Pregnant after a Loss
Back from second U/S (with PIP)
I just got back from my second u/s. Little bean is doing great. Heart rate was 105 bpm, and we could clearly see the fetal pole and yolk sac. DH was thrilled since he missed seeing the hb for the first time with the twins.
My RE seemed very optimistic and is releasing me back to my OB. I have my first OB appointment one week from today.

That's so sweet of you to ask. She is doing pretty well. She had a cat scan last week and it looks like only one of the lesions has grown, which is better than expected given how high her numbers were jumping. Her markers went up again with the last draw, but not as drastically, so we are hoping that the latest chemo is starting to work. They are going to monitor for another month and see how she does. Her lungs are not doing well and they can't figure out what's going on with them. It looks like she is going to have to stay on the oxygen. She is thrilled about the baby and I think that is making everything else more tolerable for her.
