First Appointment, very nervous

So I called this morning and they are fitting me in at 2:30 today YAY! I'am very nervous, I'am hoping for ultrasound, I want to push for one just to ease my mind that it's not a ectopic. Last time he did an u/s first visit too.If they do an ultrasound I'm nervous about it, as the last time I had one I was givin the bad news of a missed m/c. How did you ladies handle your first u/s....I'am even more nervous as my DH is working and will not be joint me Guess I'm just looking for a little " you can do it, you will be fine"

GL. I hope its not to early for you to see something if you do get an ultrasound. Anxiety is totally normal. I get sick to my stomach before every appointment.

I was terrified before my ultrasound, I couldn't sleep, eat, basically was a nervous wreck. But once the tech told us what the heartbeat was, I had tears of relief streaming down my face. After that, seeing the little bugger shake it's arms and legs was amazing. I have my anatomy scan tomorrow and I'm freaking out again. I think it just comes with being PGAL. Hang in there, you can do it! I hope it is an amazing experience and everything looks great.

Thank you everyone so much for the support, I really need it *hugs* I hopefully got all my crying out last night, as I was anticipating calling this morning.

GL today!  It may be too early to see anything on an u/s.  At 5w1d, all we were able to see was a gestational sac.  I don't think we would have seen anything before 5 weeks.  If you don't see anything, don't get too anxious, just remember that it is early.
