Soooo tired.

Camille had the worst nights of sleep ever over the weekend.

Saturday night, we had dinner with my brother and SIL, so she slept there from 7:30-9:00 when we left, and when we got home, I put her in bed and she woke right up.  Home girl was still wide awake and playing at midnight when H and I NEEDED sleep, so we brought her to bed with us.  

Holy crap.  It was awful.  I was headbutted, climbed on, scratched, gouged, she woke up every hour crying because she lost her paci, then I'd give it back to her and she'd grab onto me and pull me into her and fall back asleep.  Completely precious, but I slept like crap.  She also is a pillow hog and nearly pushed me out the bed.

Sunday night, she did ok- went to bed an hour later than normal and woke up an hour earlier than normal, but compared to the night before it was fine.

Then there was last night.  She went down at 7:30 like normal and I was happy about that.  We got in bed at 10, and were woke up by her SCREAMING crying at 1:30.  Since DH had to get up at 4:30 for work, I went up to her.  I changed her diaper, and we rocked.  and rocked and rocked and rocked.  An hour later, she was relaxed but awake, resting her head on my shoulder so I thought I'd give putting her back in bed a shot.  Nope.  She wasn't having it.  I let her fuss/cry for a few minutes before going back up and repeating the process for another hour.  When it didn't work again, I went downstairs and sent DH up (she's a daddy's girl).  He laid her down in bed and stood at her crib where she could see him for a full 30 minutes until she fell asleep and then crept back out.  So she was awake from 1:30-3:00, and was back up at 5:45.

I don't know what it is.  I'm blaming teething right now for everything, and she was adjusted yesterday for constipation, and things started moving last night, so maybe her tummy was upset?  And she's congested, hell.  I don't know.  I just hope she's better by next weekend when we leave for the beach.

This seems like a nightly occurrence at our house. And yeah, it is precious, but mama likes to have her own pillow, and NOT sleep with her head on the nightstand. Man I miss the crib.

This seems like a nightly occurrence at our house. And yeah, it is precious, but mam likes to have her own pillow, and NOT sleep with her head on the nightstand. Man I miss the crib. 

That night decided for us that we will not do a whole night with her in the bed with us anymore.  If she wakes up unusually early, that's fine, but I needs me some sleep!  Luckily Andrew got up with her when she woke up in the morning and took her to the living room so I could get a little more shut eye sans kid.  It was nice.

Yeah, she usualy goes to bed in her room okay, but will get up and wander in in the middle of the night, and me being tired and sleeping just puts her in our bed rather than getting up and putting her back in hers.  I really need to nip it in the bud, if we have to put a gate up in her room or  something.
