How early was your first U/S?

I'm waiting for the nurse to call me back and schedule my first appt this time around. How much earlier do they get you in for your first u/s after a loss? When did you see the heartbeat for the first time?

My first was at 7w3d and I saw the heartbeat.  My doctor doesn't like to schedule u/s any earlier because of the anxiety it could cause.

My first scheduled u/s wasn't until 11.5 weeks.  I wasn't treated any differently than any other pregnant woman.  That was my first time seeing the heartbeat.

I had an ER visit due to spotting at 6 weeks.  No hb was visible at the time.

This pregnancy was different because I was seeing an RE. My first u/s was at 5w2d to see how many of the embryos stuck and to make sure they were in the uterus. We didn't see the HBs then, but we did at our next u/s at 6w2d.

After my first loss, they weren't going to do anything different for me - I was still only going to get 1 u/s at 20 weeks.

After my second loss I was fed up and finally switched doctors, practices, etc. and developed a plan with my new OB that included betas, an early u/s, close monitoring, etc.

So this time around (3rd time's a charm) I had my first u/s at a little over 6 weeks, where we saw the heartbeat.

You don't actually get to hear the heartbeat (with a doppler, not simulated by the u/s machine if they do that for you earlier) until your ute is high enough above your public bone to do so (~12 weeks or later).

My RE doesn't normally schedule a u/s until 6w4d, but they got me in early at 5w1d for my first given my history.  There was no heartbeat at that u/s, but I knew it would be too early going in.  I go back today for my second and am hoping to see a heartbeat.

I had 7weeks ultrasound scheduled but had one done at 5wks due to spotting.

6w for 1st appt and had an u/s where we saw the hb.

My first u/s was at 6w4d.  My RE likes to do the first u/s after 6w as that is when he says we should be able to see a h/b.  At my appt the baby was measuring 6w1d and we saw a h/b.

I had mine at 6.5 weeks and were able to see a heart beat.

mine is this friday, i think i'll be 7 weeks and definitely hoping to see and maybe hear the heartbeat!

My first u/s was scheduled for when I was 6w3d.  I measured 2 days ahead and we were able to see a clear HB.  I don't think they got me in any sooner because of a previous loss, I think it's just part of the practice at the OB's office I go to to do a viability u/s.

It was at my first appt at 8 wks. Having an ultrasound wouldn't be standard that early, even with a loss, but I needed one for dating and was very happy for the reassurance.

First time around it was about 5w5d.  This time it was supposed to be 6 weeks but I'm OOT that week so it's going to be 7w2d.

When I called after my BFP to schedule my first appt, they initially said that the they didn't do an u/s at the 8w appt, rather the first was at 12w.  I told them about my previous loss and they said they'd do a viability scan at the 8w appt to ease my mind.  But, it turned out that my first u/s was at 5w5d - but it was because I was experiencing pain and they wanted to make sure everything was ok.  I've been in for another 2 u/s since then due to an SCH.  Today's my 8w appt, so it'll be my 4th u/s to date.

I think my 1st US was at 6w6d and we saw a hb via transvag US

My last pregnancy was ectopic so I had a super early u/s at 5w6d to rule out anther potential ectopic. We saw a HB at that u/s

My first u/s was at 5w, just to make sure we saw something in the uterus. We still haven?t seen the heartbeat yet. Probably next week or the week after for our next u/s.

My first u/s was at 6w2d and I saw the HB.  I got the appointment through the RE's office, but I think my regular OB would've seen me earlier than 8 weeks too.
