After spending the past three days on the couch unable to control the vomiting or hypoglycemia and being complete weak and exhausted I think it's time to call the Dr and get some meds for the m/s (which should be renamed "can strike at any time and last all day sickness). I hate to complain as I know I am so blessed to be pg but I can't keep anything down and having GERD makes m/s 10x worse. Should I call the Dr for a prescription or try the unisom and B6 first? If you take unisom and B6 tell me how you take (dosage etc).
Re: I think it's time to call the Dr
I tried B6 and it did NOT work for me! In fact, a few times I threw up immediately after taking it. I would definitely call your Dr. as soon as they open this morning, explain your situation and I am sure they will either prescribe you something or give you some good advice.
I feel for you, my nausea is getting a bit better but still off and on. It IS "strike anytime of day and last all day" sickness! Feel better soon!

Even the highest oral dose of Zofran never touched my m/s, but I had a little luck with Unisom/B6.
All that being said, I also suffer from GERD, and after 3 pregnancies, have figured out that my m/s is more due to that. Maybe a proton pump inhibitor? I have been on one since 17w or so and have had a much, much easier time of it this time.
Don't feel bad about calling the Dr.! That is why they are there!

I think your m/s goes well beyond what Unisom and B6 are suppose to treat. You don't want to mess around with severe m/s, it's so easy to get dehydrated.
I hope you feel better.

I can't offer any advice, but I wanted to say that I hope you feel better soon!
If it makes you feel better, I called my Dr. the FIRST DAY I felt like that (throwing up everything, including water.) There was no way I could miss that much work, so I called that first day and they immediately put me on Zofran, then I went back to work the next day. I didn't feel awesome, but I was at least somewhat functional.
You are not being a complainer. Definitely call the Dr. today.

You should call the Dr first. If it's been three days, you could be getting severely dehydrated as well and may need further intervention. Not something to mess around with. You could always start on the Zofran and then try to switch to the unisom and B6 later.
I hope you feel better.
