S/O keurigs...

I saw a commercial that you can make iced tea and coffee. Do some models have a special setting or something? The commercial makes it look like you can just stick some ice in a glass, turn it on and you have iced coffee. If I did that with mine I would just have watered down coffee I think. Also d you need special pod things or do you just use regular ones?

Re: S/O keurigs...

  • They make tea k-cups and they actually taste really good. You brew them directly over a cup of ice and they didn't taste watered down.

They do make special k-cups for iced coffee that say "Brew over ice" on them, but we still found that it made it taste way too watered down. I've given up on iced coffee (or, I brew it normally, let it cool off in the fridge for a few minutes, and then dump it over ice).

  • Someone said the Platinum Keurig makes iced brews. I'm not sure how it works but I would like one that would do this as well since I don't like hot coffee.
