How to get DH to clean out the fridge

So last week DH put a pickle jar on it's side on the very top shelf of the fridge.  Even though the lid was on tight, the juice still managed to slowly drip out and coat everything in the fridge with a nice sticky green layer of pickle juice. 

So basically our fridge smelled disgusting.  I normally don't have a problem with pickles but every time I opened the refrigerator door I would gag from the smell.  DH promised he would clean it out but he wasn't in as big of a rush about it as I was.  So for the past couple days I have not opened the fridge once.  If I needed something out of it, I would ask him to get it out for me and if stuff needed to be put away I would ask him to do it.  AND IT WORKED!  DH just finished cleaning out the fridge, I guess he got the hint

 

I'm so happy that I can now get food for myself again.
