Pregnant after a Loss

tell me about your doppler

What kind did you get and how well does it work? I have a borrowed one but I'm not sure how good it is and was wondering what your experience with them was. TIA!

Re: tell me about your doppler

  • I have the Sonoline B,  I think most ladies on here have that brand.  I think it works well.  We weren't able to find the hearbeat until 11w6d, but have found it easily, except for once, since then.

  • I have a Sonoline B. Got it off eBay when I was 14 weeks. It is super easy to use, and with expedited shipping I think it cost me all of 60 bucks. I'd get one again in a heartbeat (pun intended). :)

  • I have the Sonotrax B. I got it from Amazon and used it with DD. It was GREAT. There wasn't once that I didn't pick her up and she was a doppler runner. I'm confident that it'll do the same this pregnancy. But, it was on the pricey side. I paid $45 if I remember.

I have a sonoline B and I got mine for about $60.00 too. You are really too early to be finding a heartbeat with a doppler. Some find it as early as 9 weeks but I tried and didn't until 10 weeks. You might just have to give it a little bit more time.

ETA: Sorry I read too fast and thought you said it isn't working well for you- not that you didn't know how well it will work. My bad!

  • Sonoline B 3 hz. I can't find where I got it from. It was some random medical supply place that someone posted on here. I found the baby for the 1st time at 9w2d and have found it every time since then- sometimes after a try or two.

Yeah I read about the one I have and it says it won't pick anything up until at least 10 weeks. The Sonoline B says it can pick up as early as 8 weeks but I have never heard of anyone actually finding it that early.
