Temping ISSUE!

I started temping this month.  So this is still pretty new to me. 

Well yesterday I got sunburn ( I know -- really dumb of me).  I took my temp this AM and it was 97.99...which is much higher than the last few days. (take a look at my chart)  Is this due to the sunburn or O?  Should I temp laster in the day?

At first, I honestly thought that this was a really weird question, but Dr. Google informed me that sunburn can cause a mild fever, so... I guess just see if your temps stay up for the next few days. Temping later in the day might be a good idea, since it will give you an indication of whether or not your temp is elevated.

Hmm, that is actually a very interesting question.  You did have a huge jump.  I wouldn't change your temping time, always do it at the same time if possible.  I suggest just keep temping and see what happens in the next few days.

How bad was the sunburn?

We can't really know if it is/was O or not for a few more days.  You need three sustained higher temps to confirm O.  As for temping later in the day, you shouldn't use that temp if you do. 

I would say have some sex, if you can due to sunburn and all, and wait it out.  You can mark it as sunburn or make a note in your chart and just see what happens. 

I am sorry I am not more help, but it's really too soon to tell!  GL!

I'd mark "fever" so FF knows it's potentially compromised and you'll get an open circle, and let it do its thing with the calculations. Your CM doesn't indicate impending O, so I wouldn't be too worried that you're missing your actual post-O temp spike.

Don't change when you temp. Consistency is one of the keys of charting.

ETA: Just kidding, you did have W CM yesterday. Still, I'd mark your temp with fever and wait and see what your temps do the next couple days.
