Preemie squeaks

How long did your LO squeak and squawk like a derranged dolphin? I read this was typical for preemies (in the weeks following arrival). My kid is still doing it. It's endearing, don't get me wrong! I'm curious if I'm alone here.

    My guy is 11 weeks actual, 1 week adjusted and he's very noisy. Squeaks, squeals, grunts, growls....

    My girls do this too. Sometimes they sound like little birds. They also grunt. The bigger two are starting to cry really loud...its was like one day I could barely hear them squeak from across the wall and the next day they are screaming in protest. My littlest one's squeaks are still softer but her lungs are getting bigger and I have a feeling she'll be the loudest of the three. I love the sounds they make and love how I know its my baby when they make the sounds.
