Charlotte, NC recs?

Husband MAY have a job opportunity in Charlotte this summer and I'm preparing myself mentally for the move- one BIG part of that for me is finding a VBAC friendly provider in the area but I'm coming up with ZILCH.  Anyone in that area have any good recs for hospitals/midwives/doctors?  TIA

I don't have any recs but I used to live in Charlotte and I loved it there so much! (this was way before my child making days so I didn't even have an OB there)

Try asking on mothering.com's Finding Your Tribe NC board, or doing a search.  Is there an ICAN chapter in Charlotte?  I think there is--you could check with them too.

You could also drive the 2 hours to Asheville to give birth--I know of many different VBAC providers here.

I probably can't drive to Asheville depending on where we live since my first birth went from very first contraction to pushing in less than 2 hours.

Yeah that probably wouldn't work so well!
