Um... the dog just bit Quinn

Yeah.  The old one that is super sick.  I guess it made him much less tolerant than he used to be.  He's always been around kids and been great - taken all kinds of abuse.  I don't know if Quinn leaned on him or just scared him, but he snapped and bit him.  On his face.  He has a cut on his eyelid and right by his nose.  Super scary.  It's not deep or anything, but still.  DH said if he's hurt Quinn's eye, he would have put the dog to sleep himself.  Yikes.

While we're on the subject, we decided to get the medicine to give the dog for a month and see how he does - it's an anti-inflammatory and pain medication. $85 - not too bad. The dog is going to stay with my ILs (and dd) while we're out of town, so they can keep a close eye on him and he can get some TLC.  

Thanks for all the kind words the other day.  I guess we're going to have to be more careful with him around Quinn now

Scary.    We had a little dog issue today ourselves.  I'm glad Quinn's ok and it's not a bad cut.

oh wow. Ya poor guy is probably just not feeling well. I kinda would like to bite people right now...

  We've been there.  I hope you're able to easily keep him seperated from the kids going forward as I'm sure with his declining health there could be a repeat easily.
