FB peeve

It's not a pet peeve, because it's the first time I've encountered this.

But a friend who is only a fb friend is basicaly tweeting her wedding day ("today is it!" "hair time!" "can't believe it's only 3.5 hours until we start!" "bridal room is stocked with champagne and cheese!") and I want SO badly to post "JUST GO LIVE THE DAY, YOU CAN TELL THE STORY LATER!"

I so agree - I used to think taking too many pictures of events, etc took people too out of the moments of their lives - live it, don't view it behind a camera!  Don't get me started on FB & twitter & texting.

I have some friends who CNA NOT just hang out without pulling out their freakin' cameras.. UGH.. We're just hanging out having some beers. There is no kodak moment here! Chill, plz.

Wow... ya. I turned off my phone the night before my wedding and it wasn't turned back on till after the honeymoon. I called my mom and dad from the hotel to let them know we arrived safely but that was it. Enjoy the moments, geesh! 

ITA about the pictures... I always miss pic opportunities but then think well I was there and it is in my memory forever!

I don't even know how Twitter works nor do I want to.

 

But I have to admit that I'm one of those camera people.  I have a very poor memory so I like to take a lot of pictures and look at them at later times. I think some of my friends might like that though because they're always asking me to post the pictures.
