So far DS has only worn Robeez, which were sized 6-12 mos. I'm just checking out some Stride Rite shoes on Zappos and wondering if I should order a pair or two.
He was 6 1/2 Extra Wide. I would take LO into a Stride Rite to get fitted. If you don't have one nearby, apparently Payless also fits children - You could get sized there and then order online from stride rite.

DS was fitted into a 5 at 14 months. Now, he is a 6.5 wide!! Yesterday at Stride Rite they said at this age they average a new size about every 3 months.
When DS turned 1 we bought a size 6 and they were a tad big. He has since grown out of those and we had to buy a size 8 about a month ago! He is now 16 months. Compared to everyone else my kid has some big feet! But he is a very tall boy, he is ABOVE the 95th percentile in height lol.

Ditto. DD is only 12 months - but wears a 3. My other girls wore a 4 at a year.

My dd is almost 16 months, she's in a size 4, but they are big, she fits in a size 3 but they are getting snug (especially with socks).
Clothes wise she's in a 12 month, could still do a 9 month waist in a lot of things, she's tall 31 inches, but skinny 19.5 lbs.
At 12 months I had DD measured and she was a 4W. They are just about still fitting her, so I think she will be in a 5 very soon.
LO's this age usually go up in shoe size every three months, so you should really get a proper measurement to see what size to buy.
