So in the last week I have been either very accident-prone or extremely clumsy.
Wednesday I broke my toe and toenail at the grocery store when I unwittingly picked up two hand-baskets instead of one...most mortifying was that I was in the deli section at the front of the store and would have discreetly put a bandaid on myself but realised that I couldn't bend over and get one on there myself (deli lady with those Ronald Macdonald plastic gloves had to do it for me on a chair in the middle of the section).
Thursday I dropped the lid to a can of soup in a sink full of water, and while trying to fish it out thinking: 'be careful not to cut yourself on that...' cut my finger very badly on it.
Last night: my daughter had a nightmare and I got up from the couch where I was sleeping (because it is softer on my back and hips than our bed and the fan is like a wind-tunnel that helps my overheating -- sigh) and went to run into her got a leg cramp and hit the floor head first, then tried to get up and it happened again but this time my head hit the book shelf there (2 nice big bumps on my head).
I need this baby to come or I am going to loose a limb!
Anyone else on the clumsy train?
Re: Bubble wrap and a helmet
You poor thing!!! I fall backwards when I try to pick something up from the floor. (Thankfully my butt is now a nice big cushion!)
Mostly I just drop stuff. My family has officially taken away the privilege of using any glass dishes, holding anything breakable, etc.
Oh my goodness! You poor thing... You need someone to follow you with pillows and band aids!
I'm defiantly off balance but haven't had any falls which I feel lucky about!
Not going to hell. It is sadly funny in a sick way really! I have two goose eggs on my head and feel like a complete fool!
