    Wasn't there a country singer named Waylon Jennings?  (Thank you Walk the Line for this trivial piece of knowledge).  I just picture that guy, not a name I see on a baby or child.

    My SO brought up the country singer, so he thinks it's "okay." I, however, think the name sounds like whaling.

    I think of Waylon Jennings. I have a friend with a 4 yr old named this. They are heavily tatted 4 wheeling type awesome people. They're also big country music fans.

    I love it. I think it is a great sounding name. Some people may associate it with Waylon Jennings - but who cares - he was awesome! My friends used Waylon for their son who is 2.

    This! The little Waylon I know is getting ready to turn 2 and he is so very cute. Never really loved the name, but it's ok.

    First thought: Waylon Jennings (I don't listen to country so the association does nothing for me); second thought: Mr. Smithers.
