I want to take a bath so bad!

I'm not feeling well and want to be able to sit back and soak in the bathtub for a while. I think that is one of the things I'll miss most during this pregnancy...

    I know what you mean! I've read that you can take a bath, but I'm nervous about the temperature. I like hot baths and I don't trust that I can make the water a safe temperature.

    This exactly! I love hot baths and have heard to avoid anything that raises your body temp over 104 degrees. I think anything around 100 or lower would be way too cold for me.

    I took hot baths throughout my pg with DD.  I think it's fine.  As long as you don't feel too hot.  I sometimes even keep my thermometer nearby so that I can check my temp while in the bath.  It's never been above double digits. I have had a m/c and am super cautious.  My Dr. both with DD and my current OB said it's fine as long as I pay attention to how I'm feeling.  Hope that helps!

    I take a bath everyday, and did the same when I was pregnant with DS. Just take a hot - but not super hot - bath and you'll be fine. If you start to feel warm, put your legs out of the water so that they can cool off which will cool you off too. Or, just don't stay in it for all that long. Really though, you'll be fine. It would have to be reallllly hot to raise your temp high enough to hurt the baby.

    I totally gave in and took one. Actually, my husband insisted. He went and got the bath ready for me and once I was in there he kept coming to check the temperature. I told him it was fine and he said, "maybe for you but not for baby!" Y'all he is soo sweet !!!!

    Ditto the 104 degrees. My dr said just to pay attention to my body when I am in the tub. Most people will start to get uncomfortable when their body temp is at 104.  I have just been taking warm but not super hot baths.

    Who can take a HOT bath in this weather!!!! (It's 90 degrees here :) haha)

    I think and ice cold bath would be amazing...
