Fert report

7 retrieved. 6 mature. 3 fert. How did a more aggressive protocol get us worse results? I'm so sad.

    Did u use frozen vs fresh TESE sperm this time?  I know that really impact fert rates.

    11/10: IUI #1 =100mg Clomid CD4-8 + pregnyl trigger + IUI = chemical pregnancy
    1/11: IUI #2 = 5mg Femara + trigger + IUI = BFN
    2/11: IUI #3 = injectibles + trigger + IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 April 2011 ER 4/23 w/16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fert., 4 blasts to freeze, 5dt of 2 blasts on 4/28, beta #1 5/7 = 243... beta #2 5/9 = 491....beta #3 5/11 = 1113!!

    I can see that this was disappointing, but try and stay positive (I know, easier said than done). Hopefully this cycle will surprise you!

    I felt the same way in that the more aggressive protocol got us the same fert rate as before, but today they were much better quality than we've ever had before.

    I hope that encourages you, some. Praying those 3 are the best quality you've ever had!!!! And that they are growing big and strong waitin on you to come pick them up and take them home :)

    Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
    2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's
    After 7yrs TTC, 5yrs of ute cancer, and 11 failed IF treatments, we got a surprise BFP! So thankful!

    No, we used frozen TESE sperm both times.  50% fert rate this time vs. 62% last time.  So not a huge difference except that we were starting with smaller numbers.
