Allergic to chicken and eggs?

Everytime LO eats stage 3 food that has meats and eggs in it, he throws up as soon as I pick him up out of the highchair. He had real chicken last night and after a few bites he threw up and he had mucus(sp?) in his poop today. So the Dr. said to hold off on any protein for now. Now its veggies, fruits and of course his formula(Neocate).

Is anyone allergic to chicken?

    DS is.  But his condition, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, makes him more prone to be allergic to proteins.

    My dd is allergic to eggs as a result the pedi also told us to avoid giving dd chicken.

    my son was intolerant to chicken until recently.  He would gag every time it was near him. Even if it was pureed and put in a ton of fruit.  My doc said some kids that are allergic to eggs can also be allergic to chicken.
