Pregnant after a Loss

reassure me please...

I just bumped into our medal bed frame with my bump, hard enough to leave a red mark on my skin. Now I'm freaking out.

Last time I slightly bumped into something the it placenta separated and killed my baby. I know that there had to have been issues with the placenta last time to make that happen. and that in all probability it is not a big deal but reassurance would be really nice.

  • It probably didn't hurt anything.  I ran into my bed hard in the middle of the night when I was pregnant with Ella, and it didn't hurt anything.  But I would call the doctor just to be safe because of your history.

I'm sure it's absolutely fine, but I would call to get some reassurance from your OB since otherwise you'll just worry all weekend because of your history.

I agree with this as well.  If it would make you feel better, I would just call.

absolutely agree--it will make you feel better, and if they are understanding they'll bring you in just to check or keep a closer eye on you!
