I put Isaac to sleep in the swing, made sure he was good and asleep, and then went to the bathroom. I came back in the room and his eyes are open, and he's coughing/choking/gagging (I guess on spit-up?!) I ran across the room, and just as I was about to grab him up out of the swing, he worked out whatever it was and promptly passed back out. (And yes, I did check to make sure he was "passed out" as in sleeping and not "passed out" as in not breathing)
Anyone have a defibrilator to restart my heart?
Re: Um, that was kinda scary.
OMG. you poor thing. An experience like this is exactly why my child has not slept in his crib, in his room yet. I'm so paranoid.
Admittedly I often take his bouncy chair to the bathroom and put him in it when I have to USE it even if he's quiet and content in the swing.
Oh my, that is scary! I would have freaked out too!
