what is your opinion on knox?

it is a family name for me but I cannot get angelina and brad's kid out of my brain.

I don't think I like it even without the starbaby quality. The sound is just not appealing to me.

Ha! I didn't even realize it was Brad & Angelina's kid. The first place my brain went was Knox Overstreet from Dead Poet's Society. So, there you go, not everyone will make the connection.

Because of my association, it feels like a very preppy name to me. Not good or bad, just preppy.

I wouldnt think of naming my child Knox...but I do like it.

I think of the army base  where they store the gold reserve (Ft. Knox).  I  wouldn't use it l except in your case where itis a family name and I would probably use it as a MN even then.

I have a friend that just had a baby a few weeks ago and named him Knox. I don't think the name is going over very well. I have the need to say "Knox--ville" because I feel like it's missing part of it. lol.

They like it though and that's all the matters! Others will settle into it!

It's my best friend's married last name, NMS at all for a first name.  Not do i like it for Brad and Angelina's choice for names.

All I think about when I hear that name is Brangelina. Personally, I wouldn't use it.

I think Knox (and other names ending in x like Maddox) makes it seem like the parents are trying too hard to pick a "cool" name. To me, Knox sounds too rockstar for a normal person. But I don't hate the way it sounds, so if you like it, use it!

I live in KY and also thought of Fort Knox.

It's not a terrible name, but I'm not really a fan.

We like it as an option if we ever have another son, as well as Hendrix. If this baby is a boy, his name will be Dexter so we want to keep the X in their names.

I don't mind it.  I didn't know about Brad and Angelina.  My first thought was our old church, one of a million  Knox Presbyterians (which made me giggle at PP's rockstar reference).  Then I thought of Ft. Knox and them stealing all the gold in James Bond Goldfinger.
