He's joking right?

DH just called to see if I had picked up Lila. Then he said I should go pick her up and can't believe I don't miss her. 1) I feel like shiit. 2) I don't want to get her sick. 3) The maid is here and it is bad enough she is chasing me around the house while I just want to crawl in bed, the last thing I need is an almost toddler who is terrified of vacuum cleaner on top of it. Please tell me he was joking before he gets a nut punch when he gets home for making me feel guilty.

    Ugh, he needs a nut punch if he wasn't joking.

    DH used to play the guild card me...I would literally turn into a demon.  He knows now that its not a good idea to harp on my already there 'mommy guilt.'

    He's either joking or dense. I'd be pissed.

    This isn't on the same level, but when we lived in an apartment, DH didn't understand why I didn't want to take our large dog out for his walks (in the rain) when I was home sick. Once when I was sick, he left for work in the morning without walking him so I'd have to do it. He never did that again... haha.
