If you have a close family friend that has a baby a month after your LO and you think they over fed her, would you say something? I mean, they feed the kid 8 oz bottles every 2 hours. They also give her veggies, fruits and COOKIES! I'm talking chips ahoy chocolate chip cookies and caramels. I definitely think that kid is over fed. She is only 6 months old and wearing 18month clothes. They also wonder why she spits up all the time. In which I have responded "maybe you feed her too much>" they respond..."no that can't be it, she loves to eat." WWYD? would you sit down and try to have a serious talk with her, or let it be how it is and move on?

Re: wwyd?
Ugh, I get what you mean. C has also been wearing 9-18 month clothes at 6 months though, and is currently in 12-18 month stuff because the 9 month clothes are too small/short. Size alone isnt everything, but even if the kid was rail thin and too small, I would still say the amounts and the types of food being given are all sorts of wrong. I wouldnt say anything unless they comment on either your kid or their own baby's eating habits, then I would say "my pediatrician said such and such...." and leave it at that.

Nope. I hate it when people give me unsolicited advice. Whether or not I think someone is doing something stupid I'd probably just keep my mouth shut.
I had a friend give his 9 month old soda, cookies and everything else that would make you shake your head. But it wasn't my child so I had no room to talk. Didn't stop the fact I was mentally throat punching him.
Unless it is seriously dangerous for the baby I wouldn't say anything.
I mentally throat punch her all the time. LOL. Ontop of this, she's the type when you say "oh Juli got two teeth today." she says "Mack got three!" Besides her kids name is McKenzie. I feel like that is a last name. I try to call her mick or kenzie, but she always calls her Mackie butt. Poor kid. Thats for your responses ladies!
Well, good thing she's not your kid.
I have friends like this. I don't say anything. My baby has the opposite issue and I think maybe their baby really does need that much food. Who knows.
The cookies thing is weird, though. But, once again, their choice.
Yup! Good thing!
