scented laudry detergent recs?

DH wants all our laundry to smell good again.  I loved Charlies for our diapers but it didn't work if I used other detergent for our clothes and it didn't clean dh clothes very well.  I tried rock'n green and it only cleans our clothes if I use over double the recommended amount so it's to expensive (over a dollar a load) We tried sports wash and it just didn't work on DH clothes they seemed grease.

I think part of it is that my DH leaves a residue on everythign it's kinda a yellow color smells like sweatly mildew and it's on the sheets and all his clothes and is very hard to get clean.

 That's what we use for our clothes (and sometimes the diapers)

I'm very allergic to something in tide I get hives anywere something washed in it touches me :-( 

I have tried several cheap detergents from local stores( cheap usually is better for diapers I've heard) non of them worked well either had repelling with the diapers or stinky clothes.  We have used some ALL small and mightly but the diapers repell after a while.
