I went to squirt a little MiO into my water and ricochet off my ice cube and hit the arm of the couch. I wet a towel and tried to get it up, but I am afraid it will not come up. 

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. 

ETA: It is drying kind of light. Now this part is horrible, my DH is colorblind - I am wondering if he will even notice.....

is it an expensive couch? I wonder if (depending on the fabric) you could just use a strong stain remover.

you should have married my H. He spills stuff all the time.

Have you tried a tide pen or oxyclean (or something similar).

 Another option is to buy a pretty doily to cover up the spot.

I would call the couch manufacturer and see if they have any ideas. Our told us distilled water or something like that.

Get a small bottle of Bissel carpet & upholstry cleaner and a spray bottle.  Mix about 1/2 tsp of the solution into water.  Spray the stain until it's saturated, then dab with a towel.  This has worked for me on everything from salsa to red zinfandel.
