That some of these posts have 200, 300, 600+ views. I know this is a public forum and the Nest has bazillions of members, and you don't even have to be a member to lurk, but I liked it better when you couldn't see the number of psycho-stalkers who have read your post.

it is a little creepy yes, but there has to be a glitch - in my post atleast.  there is NO way that 600+ people care about a charm bracelet.

I wouldn't say everyone is a psycho stalker, I open many posts beccause the title line has piqued by curiousity but I have nothing to add to reply so I don't.  It is weird though the number of views vs. the number of replies, I agree with you there.

I think something is off with their counter.  You also have to consider that every time the poster opens it again to read responses that counts as one more.  I know I go back to posts several times when I notice that someone else has added something.

Yes, I realized there were lurkers. What I said in my post is that I liked it better when you couldn't see how MANY people were lurking your posts. I find it creepier knowing how many than not knowing how many.

i am with you.  we all knew they were out there.  it's just weird to see how many people care enough about random topics and not care enough to post.  although we all know that you don't have to be a 'member' to read the boards.  i find it a litte more creepy to think of people behind there computers with nothing more to do than read our thoughts and discussions an never have anything to say.

I would say I respond to maybe 10% of the posts that I read.  Many posts I like to read about older kids to store away for future reference.
