    I was just coming on here to post this. I bought another 3. They are great for birthday presents and the 3 average out to less than $10 each. I should add our last butterfly just hatched yesterday so I have butterflies flying around right now. The girls loved it again this year. We'll wait a few days and then let them go.

    ANyone know how long the season is for these.  If I give one as a gift in July and one later in the fall, will the butterflies still hatch?

    Woot!  We ordered 3 for gifts, too! :)

    I *think* they will ship all year, they just ask that you keep the butterflies caged for the duration of their life if you're not able to release them outside because of cold weather.  I don't think the certificate expires either, so they could always save it for warmer weather.
