to make Spanx/Shapewear in sizes like XS or S? I know this may come off as biitchy but if you wear a size small there is no reason you need to suck or tuck anything.
Uh, I rocked those things for months and months after giving birth. I may be a size small but c-section flabby flaps look good on no one. I still wear one under certain dresses, because of the way they hit my midsection right at the spot where my pooch likes to wiggle around when I bend over or sit down.
I disagree. I wear a small/xsmall because I am 5'1" and there are lumps and bumps that need to get controlled for sure.
I can maybe understand if you just want to make things seamless, but I am 5'2 and a size 14, I have plenty to suck in. When I was a size 4 there was not much to hide.
Maybe I am just bitter because I just bought some Spanx for this wedding I am in and next to me is this tiny little petite girl buying Spanx and bittching about her fat!

As a fellow 5'2 size 14 who was not always so, I hear ya loud and clear.
I'm looking for an inexpensive shapewear cami right now... Has anyone tried out the Wallyworld cheapies?

Maybe you just have a tighter body than me, even at a size 14, because I have cellulite and postpartum pooch that need help. I see women all the time who are bigger than me who are a ton "tighter". So I'm just saying, it isn't always just about size but also about body composition.

This exactly. I am 5'0 but wear a size small in shapewear because I definitely have a pooch that needs some support.

yeah, sorry, you're wrong. I'm a size small (sometimes medium depending on brand), but I definitely need the shapewear. After getting out of college and not competing in track anymore, most of my muscle tone is gone.
I only wear it with a particularly form-fitting dress. I suck at undergarments.
I only wear it with certain dresses. But when since I'm a student I tend to wear looser clothes to class and scrubs on clinical days. When I'm a midwife and wearing more professional clothes to work, I will most likely be wearing it more often.

Re: Why do they even bother
Unfortunately not true. My SIL is an XS and she still had tummy blubber before her tummy tuck.

Do all of you wear shapewear every day?
Am I doing it wrong??

I have never worn a spanx. I just go lumpy. Heh.
Me too, but I probably should since I am insecure with my stomach flubber.
I think I should too. This muffin top of mine is particularly annoying, especially because I'm below my PP weight!

I'm below PP weight but w/my PP belly and hernia on top of that Spanx barely even help. It just makes the weird shape a little flatter.
