I took Zumba at the gym and loved it! (before baby) We've since moved and I don't have the time or money for a gym membership now, so I was thinking of trying it on DVD. I know I loved the class, having the motivation with a group of people, plus the one instructor was great (a different instructor, not so much)....
but, outside of my own personal motivation, I was wondering about doing fitness in my living room with a 14 month old walking around.... I saw a post about ... is it the 30-day shred? Is that a DVD?
Re: Anyone try Zumba on DVD?
Honestly, I don't like the old DVDs. They're really slow compared to a class. If you know the music, you can kind of make up your own or watch videos on youtube for some moves. I haven't tried the new DVD set, but I really want to!
Some current songs we use:
my niece has it and it's ok. i have the ps3 move version of zumba and like it. it really makes you shake your booty.
but not as much fun as a class. but if you are shy like me with two left feet. maybe the video is for you
