Pregnant after a Loss

Nesting and the priced I paid for it.

I woke up today with the urge to clean clean clean, while tempature is still somewhat cool. I decided to clean the garage where most of the tubs of the baby clothes were. While doing that and spending the morning outside playing with Ian, I am so sun burnt. I am now aloed up medicated with some Tylenol and laying down bumping from my phone, I am feeling how bad it is. Any tips on how to care for it, I can't rember the last time I burned. On a good note my garage has never looked better.

If it's really bad, a cool bath. Otherwise, keep the aloe and lotion in the fridge- it feels amazing that way. I have super Irish skin, so I'm all over sunburn care!

My husband and his siblings all burn bad and then never tan, normally I just get red and them turn brown. But today no such luck.

  • Cold whole milk compresses. So soothing.

Once it gets to the itchy stage, I like to use the aveeno oatmeal bath packets.

  • Ouchy, I usually use that sunburn gel..I think it has some kind of lidocaine/numbing agent in it.  It's even better when you put it in the fridge for a bit.

  • Solarcaine is awesome, but I've never looked it up to see if it's pg-safe.
