12 days past trigger, tests still positive

I am slowly accepting the idea that I might be pregnant.  I am still not convinced that the HCG from the trigger isn't still in my system.  I know if someone else posted this I would be thinking that they were pregnant for sure, but now that it is me, I just can't let myself get that hopeful!  I guess after getting negative test results for so long, it is hard to believe it when there is actually a chance it could finally be real.  If I get a postive tomorrow I will be more optimistic I think because I am pretty sure that everyone I have seen post on here that they had a positive at 13 days past the trigger has been pregnant for real.  Seeing that my test was still postive at least helped me keep my spirits up through a very stressful work day that ended with me getting rear ended by someone on the way home.  But, if I am pregnant for real, none of that will even be a blip on my radar in comparison to my happiness!

I haven't triggered yet, but I do not think it is likely residual, but actual authentic HCG. Do you have a beta scheduled? I think I read the trigger should only last like 10 days and you are quite obviously past that. GL!!

Oh, yay!  I am so thinking this is it for you!  But I know just what you mean about not believing it is real.  I have 2 positive, doubling, betas and I still don't believe mine is real.  You HAVE to call your RE's office for betas tomorrow, when it is still positive :-)  Can you get off work to get them drawn?  You have to keep us posted!! So exciting!

Yay! I was just thinking about you today and checked on your chart. It looked like you didn't post any results today. Is your temp still looking good? This is so exciting!

Yay!  How exciting!  I say go get a beta drawn tomorrow and keep us posted.  Crossing my fingers for you.

With this last pregnancy my trigger was gone on 8DPO (got a BFN) on 9DPO I got my first BFP. I would say you are pregnant! Congrats

Thank you all for the encouragement!  I have a beta scheduled for Tuesday.  It was supposed to be Monday, but we will be out of town.  I am actually off of work tomorrow, but to go in early and get blood drawn I would have to bring DD with me and I refuse to bring her into the office since there are other people there who are having a hard time with baby #1.  I don't want to throw a kid in their face while they are at the RE office.  Also, while I like my RE office in general, I don't really like my nurse that much.  I feel like if I call her she will tell me that it could still be the trigger and I will have to wait until Tuesday anyway.  For those reasons, I think I will wait until Tuesday.  My temp was still pretty good today.  It went down to 98.78, but my high temps are usually around 98.6 so this cycle they have been much higher overall.  I will keep you all updated!!

My test was positive at 12dp trigger and well I am now almost 9 weeks. Good luck with your beta I did mine 14dp trigger and it was easy to see it was positive also. Best of luck
