I started bleeding (lightly) on Sunday afternoon and thought that I was getting my period (perfect timing). By yesterday morning it had stopped, so I though "why not take a PT".....positive! First thought....YEAH!! Second thought......why am I bleeding. I called the doctors and they wanted to see me right away.
I went in today, got blood work done, quick exam, and the doctor says..."ok. We'll see you back in 4 weeks!".
I KNOW that there can be implantation bleeding, but I would think that after a MC only 6 months ago that they would want to re-check my betas in a week. Any thoughts?
Re: NO re-check on betas if bleeding?!?
"'My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,' says the Lord. 'And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.'" Isaiah 55:8-9

Hmmm...Odd. I wonder if they consider betas as part of a "normal" work up, or if it is just like some yes or no blood test?
This. One loss isn't "enough" to trigger automatic betas with most doctors.
