And there's Henry on the monitor. I'll be back later (after bedtime) if anyone still wants to play. My Thursday nights are so exciting these days.
The center is an ornate heart with a dagger through it. There's a bird on each side and 2 roses. And a bunch of tiny black stars and little black dots.
That sounds weird I'm sure.... I can PIP later if you want!

1) We met at the best place for a girl to meet a boy! A bar of course!
Well, sort of 
Our very first meeting ever was in a bar, we were quickly introduced by a mutual friend (my best friend, Josh) and Ben was there with another girl. We had lots of mutual friends so we bumped into each other at several parties, bars and dinners with friends over the course of six months or so after that.
Then (the way he tells it) we had a long, wonderful chat at one of those 'ugly Christmas sweater' parties and that's when he decided I was awesome
I remember that party, I remember Ben being there, however, I have no recollection of speaking with him at all! Oops.
Not too long after that (at this point it had been a year since we very first met) I tagged along to the *** & Bull in Mainstrasse one night with my friend Josh, to meet Ben for a drink. We hit it off famously (and so obviously that Josh made an excuse to duck out early and leave us there together) and shut the place down. The rest is history!
2) We dated a year before our engagement and then got married another year after that. I'll tell you the story of the proposal real quick: We were standing in the kitchen of our apartment and Ben said "Hey". I expected him to follow up with something like "Have you seen my red underpants?" or "Do we have any milk left?" but instead when I turned and looked at him he tossed me a pretty blue box and said "You wanna get married?". Sorry ladies! Mr. Romantic is all mine!
3) He did, and it was very sweet. He's not a mushy guy and I know it was complicated for him but it's one of the best memories I've got from our dating days.

1) We were soooooo young. Sophi was a huge surprise that neither one of us were ready for. We stayed together during my whole pregnancy and for a short while after she was born. He was loving and supportive but still acting like a wild and crazy kid (not doing anything mean to me like cheating or anything, just acting VERY irresponsibly). Once she came into the world I asked him to act like an adult or leave. He left and I never shed a tear because I was too busy with my best girl. He's never been a very involved parent, she sees him a couple times a year at best (usually when she's visiting with his parents and he shows up). He finally pays child support (for a few years now but, it was a fight for a decade and he owes us well into 5 digits in back support...) I don't hate him or anything... mostly I feel sorry for him and all he's missed. I get along well with and have regular contact with his parents. They couldn't be more disappointed in him but they adore Sophi.
2) I worked in hospitals (St. E and CCHMC) in various capacities over the years.... social work, behavioral health, research. I miss working but it doesn't make sense for our family right now. When Henry's in school I plan to go back to school for a bit and then re-enter the work force (in the same field).
3) I wish I had a short answer for that one.... I'm not sure right now.... We go back and forth. We want more children for sure but, actually physically getting pregnant is complicated, kwim?

Um, if from this photo you can tell I'm in desperate need of a shower, I can't remember if I brushed my hair today and that at 9pm I'm still in last night's jammies, please just ignore all that ok?
