Today at work this man spots one of my pregnant cw's and says to me "Oh, someone is going to have a rough summer" and then makes the hand gestures of a pregnant belly.

I just kind of smiled. and then he went on to say "Couldn't she have planned that a little better?"

I said " It doesn't really work that way" and he said "Well I think that all women should only be pregnant in the winter!"

They really are. Kind of reminds me of the conversation DH and I had about setting a TTC time line. We decided on June and he asked if we could wait until after his birthday (which is in early June). I had to explain to him it doesn't quite work that way.

Does he think women shouldn't be due in summer or pregnant at ALL in summer? Cause the latter would be kind of impossible.

Being all big and pregnant in the summer 2yr in a row for me was great. I loved my belly and never felt more confident of the way I looked. If I were to have a 3rd I would like to have the same timing

People telling me how miserable I was last summer is what drove me the most batty. I liked being able to wear stretch tank tops and sandals all the time instead of sweaters jackets and boots.

I also loved being pregnant, so that may have something to do with it.

I'm convinced that it's not pregnancy itself that makes women late in their pregnancies moody, it's all the stupid questions and comments from other people.

I feel this. I will say it was way harder to give Riley a bath and hold her walking up the stairs. But other than that I was fine. I was more uncomfortable in the beginning of both from my back hurting.
