Update on my friend...

The other night I posted, asking if prog. sup. cause red bleeding. Thank you for the feedback and the well-wishes for my friend that was experiencing this. I shared your responses with her and it was a great comfort.

She got in for an u/s by 7:30 the next morning and the baby if fine--strong heartbeat. Her RE thinks it's the placenta bleeding and has her on bed rest until Tuesday. Her RE also said that she thinks that prog. sup. do NOT cause bleeding/spotting. Whatevs.

I am sure she appreciates all the good thoughts and prayers! Hopefully this will be her take-home baby.

I am so glad!  Interestingly, my RE told me today that I may have spotting b/c of the progesterone suppositories and to not worry about it unless I pass any clots followed by cramping.  It still amazes me how much opinions vary dr to dr.  Thanks for the update!

I'm glad she had a good u/s and is doing well.  Hopefully the bleeding will stop and she can go on to have an uneventful pregnancy.

I'm glad she and the baby are okay. I don't know why her RE would think it's not possible to have bleeding from shoving something up your vag multiple times a day...

I missed the original post but I'm glad things are ok for her! I didn't have any bleeding with progesterone supplements but I remember some people here have.
