silly question re: video monitors

This really shouldn't be that difficult, but where do you have your video cameras for your monitor mounted?  Our outlets are all behind the cribs and dresser (and there's not really any other way the furniture will fit in the room), and I'm worried about having the cord run up that close to the crib.  At this point they can't get to it, but that's going to change...  I've thought about taping the cord to the back of the crib?  Or hanging it lower and running the cord a bit away from the crib?

We still haven't put ours up (our babies are couple months old), but hopefully this weekend! The outlets aren't near the cribs, but are not in convenient spots, so we plan to run them along the baseboard, up the wall and cover them with cord covers - you can get them at any home improvement store - and paint them the same color as the walls. That way, the babies won't be able to get the cords and it won't look too messy
