Pregnant after a Loss

All I do is almost faint

Well, not ALL I do, but I have almost fainted 3 more times over the last week. Each time, I had just returned from picking up my lunch in humid high 80s weather. I have been drinking water like crazy but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Anyone else have this problem? I'm scared to go to the beach this weekend. My doctor is testing me for anemia in a little under 2 weeks. I kinda hope I have it so I know how to address the problem (iron supplements).

Also, sorry for being MIA. My boss is out of the country so I'm doing the jobs of 2 people until mid-June. I hope to check-in as often as I can. Congrats to all the new BFPs!

Re: All I do is almost faint

  • I was having horrible dizzy/almost fainting spells.  I went in last week and they discovered my sugar levels are low.  So I have to eat every 2-3 hours and so far no more dizziness.  I hope you get some answers and a break at work soon!

  • I get dizzy pretty much every time I get up/ stand up. I was first told it was because of low BP due to OHSS but I don't have OHSS anymore.

I have the same problem.  Horrible dizzy spells and near fainting.  Stay safe and let us know the results after the anemia tests.

I've definitely had this when getting up. Tuesday I was sitting in class, just sitting, and it hit me. I had been drinking lots of water, had just finished a little snack, and all of a sudden felt it coming on. Thankfully I went outside and it passed but this was the closest i've come to juuuust about passing out. I have an appointment Wednesday to discuss it, but my OB didn't seem overly concerned at this point. Still, strange and scary. Let us know about the anemia tests too! I think I'll ask to have that checked as well.

  • I'm so sorry buddy!  It stinks that you have to wait that long for answers.  I hope they are able to tell you what's going on and it is an easy fix.  Feel better!!

  • I've been feeling this way the past week here.  It's gotten much hotter here this past week and even with drinking water I feel like I can't keep up.  Thinking of you and hope that your doctor figures out what's going on.
