    Ugh, I am all for not pushing gender roles on kids (letting boys play with dolls if they want to, letting girls get dirty and play with toy tools etc.) but come on people. And the whole "unschooled" thing, really?

    Absolutely, I have no problem with boys wearing pink or dressing up in dresses while playing. As a preschool teacher I see this behavior a lot. Children should be allowed to express themselves in these ways. However, they do not need to be allowed to choose their gender. I think this could be far too confusing for the child. Think of how much of your identity your gender influences. Just crazy.

    Those people sound like kooks.
