So the photographer gave prizes to the 2nd and 3rd place people in the competition.  She linked them in the announcement so (being nosy) I clicked their names to see their FB pages.

2nd place mama's page is wide open.  She posted on her wall that they got 2nd place and someone responded with this

"I did not know who was ahead but I did think that baby looking at the carrot was funny looking"

Funny looking? Would you take that as GOOD funny or like he looks weird?

The mama bear in my jumped a little bit reading that.

Momma bear comes out a lot more than I ever thought she would.  I wouldn't let it bother you too much.  They were probably blowing smoke out their ass over losing.

if that person by any chance meant it in a not so flattering way, they are probably BFF's with MsSecondPlace and just trying to make her feel better for not getting first.

I would take it as they thought your photo was funny, which is why you won?  I wouldn't think too much about it.

I would take it in the good funny way since it was for bloopers. I voted for you because I personally thought it was the best picture. The look on his face is hilarious!

This. Also, I'm just going assume that the poster meant that the picture was funny. If you feel like snarky, you can always go to her page again and post a "congrats" and say "thanks"
