Changes in CM during pregnancy

I just noticed yesterday that I have had an increased amount in CM it seems like just since I've hit 8 weeks.  I noticed a lot more than usual CM during early weeks of pregnancy 4-5 weeks and then it seemed to be very minimal in weeks 5-6-7 but now it feels like it's a river again and I keep running to the bathroom in fear it's blood but nothing (Thank Goodness)!! 

Anyone else notice that it was full force . . . then let up some . . . and then full force again?  Just curious?

Yep. I'm 29 weeks now and that has been the story of my vag since day one.

I kept thinking it was blood at the beginning too.  Now I think it's my mucus plug.

This and it just gets heavier, I am at the (tmi alert) snail trail part of pregnancy

Bahahaha!  Same for me though.  Way more CM than even during O-time previously.

My CM is out. of. control.  I have sooo much of it.  The amount discharge I've had this pregnancy is insane.  My OB did an internal today to make sure my water hadn't broken, because the sheer volume of CM/discharge was making me nervous - and (TMI!) he pulled some out and said "is this what you're seeing?" When I confirmed that it was he said "that's normal, it's pregnancy discharge."  He told me the specific name for it, which I don't remember, but he said it's common, normal, and perfectly healthy.  You want to look our for the regular stuff - itching, burning, weird smells, but otherwise... yup, normal.
