bread????
I spent several hours making bread bowls for French onion soup on Sunday. I remember enjoying the bread at the time, but now when I look at the leftover bread bowls my stomach turns. Ugh, just thinking of them - sitting in the kitchen mocking me - is making me queasy. Of all foods I ever thought I'd want to avoid, bread was never on the list.
Anyone else having weird aversions?
Re: Aversions to...
I cannot stand the smell of Eggs. They completely turn my stomach. So far everything else seems to be okay.

eggs in any form other than hard boiled. I am not sure why hard boiled is ok, but it is.
Also peanut butter and it is so sad because it is my favorite food ever.

I just realized you can also count me in on the egg aversion - including (or maybe particularly) hard boiled.
Meanwhile, I've had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich every day this past week. Yum, but only if made with the cheap store bought and not the nice homemade bread.
Weird! I feel somewhat better now that I know I'm not alone.

The smell of coffee! Before I got pregnant I had a cup of coffee every morning. DH drinks it all day, so I got used to the smell. This morning I walked in and he had the coffee pot brewing and was cleaning the coffee table with Old English. I thought I was going to vomit. The two smells together were terrible!
Also... cheese. Sliced & grated cheese are okay, but the thought of Cottage Cheese or Cheesecake. Bleck! My office mate was showing me a picture of cheesecake today and I almost tossed my cookies.
I've had aversions to pastas and hotdishes/casseroles. Bleh.
Haha me too! I love cheese, but yesterday at Target, DH was trying to get me to buy healthy snacks and when I looked at the cottage cheese I almost gagged. I didn't even know I didn't want to eat it until I saw it.

My DH isn't allowed to make french vanilla coffee now because the smell makes my stomach turn! Regular coffee doesn't though.
THIS! I used to love coffee, but my desk is closest to the coffee pot, so my co-workers dump the old coffee grounds in my garbage and I have to trade garbage cans when no one is looking so I don't puke! Also, I am loving bananas, but the smell of the peel a few hours later also makes me sick!! Tonight for dinner we went to Red Robin...I was totally craving a burger. I got the burger, took about 2 bites, and the thought of taking a third made me queasy. WEIRD!

Ice...
no popsicles, ice cream, snow cones, slushies.
The other crazy thing... I can't stand the smell of the freezer (the cold ice smell) or the smell of the A/C when it blows in my face.
Yeah... I know weird
ugh now I'm nauseous again

This post is going to make us all puke!!
For me it's almost all milk products... H got me a bunch of ice cream when I told him I was PG (with a jar of pickles...he's just hilarious!). But now just thinking of it, or all the yogurt I bought in an effort to get enough calcium, makes my stomach reel.
I am with Jaysway on this! Dairy kills me lately. Just the thought of milk, melty cheese and yogurt ties my stomach in knots. The worst is cottage cheese, which is really sad. It has always been one of my favorite things. I tried to take a bite the other day and immediately spit it right back into the container. So gross! I really hope this goes away soon.
As for smells, there is something in my bathroom right now that I can't figure out. I think it might be the leftover soap smell or something. Ugh, when I walk in, I immediately get nauseous.

This whole post makes me laugh...then cry ( ah the hormones). I can't think of anything in particular, it just seems like moment to moment things change. I bought a quiche for supper last night and thought it looked awesome, then almost gagged as I was cutting it up for dd. Instead I had a bun with butter...what a healthy supper!
