Nanny Sharing
Has anyone participated in a Nanny Share? I am thinking of doing one but not sure to go about finding another family to go in on getting a nanny.
If anyone is in the Oakland area looking for a nanny as well, lets get together. I knew nannies were expensive but 35k a year is more than I ever imagined!

Oh it's nuts. I had a nanny for a year and it was killing me. I didn't do a share because to me the main benefit was just having someone come to MY house every day and I didn't want to be brining her anywhere. Of course I do now, but that's a daycare center.
Anyway, you can look at Berkeley parents network. It's good for Oakland too. Lots of great people on there advertising for a nanny share, nanny, etc. You can sign up for their email newsletters, they have a childcare digest every two weeks.
