My husband is doing this right now. He's lost 15 lbs in four weeks. Some food is great and some aren't but you can eat salad with it. Personally I am a picky eater and wouldn't do it. Basically its about portion control and limiting carbs.
I did it for a month and lost 10 pounds. The plan is very simple to follow, but I wasn't a huge fan of the food. I will probably do it again to get the last of the weight off after having this LO.
I've done it, I'm not a very adventurous eater so I kinda found my favorites and stuck to them. I didn't lose a huge amount of weight maybe 10 pounds?? But I found it really hard because MH wasn't on it, and it pretty much ruins it when eat out... So I personally would plan ahead and do my own meals that are portioned cutting out overly processed foods... And make sure I'm not taking in too many calories... If you are someone who cant do that, then try it, everything is already portioned and they make it very easy... But it does seem to be getting more expensive...
Looking at the ingredients in their food, there is no way I'd do it. Very unhealthy ingredients including tons of artificial stuff, dyes, preservatives, chemicals and gmo's. Plus everything I clicked on contained Soy which is known to alter thyroid function. Whole, organic, healthy foods are a much better path to true health.
Re: Nutrisystem
I am still on it and I love it. I have lost nearly 100lbs in a year. I like the food and it definitely works!
