Also...I just need to give you a hug.  I don't see how you put up with the crap that gets posted on our BMB daily.  I completely understood what you were saying the first time you said it...no need to defend yourself on there for every little thing you say!  I had been avoiding it, then started lurking today, and literally every single day that I look at there is some b!tchy snark going on...and usually from the same couple of posters.  I hate to quit that board entirely, but I feel like the door gets closer to shutting completely every time I look on there.

Hey!  I did get to hear the HB today, but I used my doppler at home this morning, so it wasn't that exciting.  I'm not too thrilled with my OB practice- they have four female OBs, and I've met all four now and haven't really loved any of them.  I just don't feel like putting forth the effort to find a new practice!  But I know I should just go ahead and do it so I can work with a doctor I like. 

Are you talking about the husband thread on the BMB??  I agree, I don't get why my point of view was so offensive.  Oh well.  Sorry, I just don't like when women are constantly b!tching and moaning about their husbands!!

How are you doing?  How is your grandmother?  Thank God she is okay, but I'm sure it's hard for her to have lost everything.

Oh, I am sorry that you don't like your OB practice.  Yes, you do need to switch soon if you are really planning on it....you need to allow time for you and your new OB to make a connection.   I am glad that your appointment was good though.  Now we just have to play the waiting game until those next appts....:::drums fingers on table:::

Yeah, that's the thread I was talking about.  It seems that some people just can't keep their mouths shut and have to pick on every. little. thing.  She just went way past the simplicity of your statement and opened up pandora's box.  You stated your opinion perfectly the first time!

I am doing better today, the sun is actually out over here, which is helping my mood.  My grandmother is okay, and I am going to call her today.  I wanted to give her a little space because I know that my uncles have been fussing over her for the past few days.  They were aparently able to load their trucks up with some of her belongings that stayed in the house, at least one of the bedrooms wasn't too badly damaged, and it's the one where she had some of her oldest keepsakes and photos, so we are all happy about that.  I haven't seen any pics of the destruction to her house, but it sounds pretty terrible.  I can't see anyone wanting to rebuild it...she's 89!  But you never know, she's healthier than all 5 of her children!

Oh, I'm so glad some of her keepsakes and photos are okay.  That's the stuff you really can't replace!  My grandmother is 84 and totally healthy, and I'm sure she'd want to rebuild in that case, too.  It wouldn't occur to her that she's too old

When's your next appointment?  Anything before your a/s?

Sounds like we both have some spunky grandmas!  DH teased that my grandma is so tough that she told that tornado to move over and leave her alone!

My next appointment is also the a/s appointment, so June 6th it is!  After that, I have to get a copy of all of my hospital records and send them to Arkanas, because we are moving back home after DH's one year fellowship in Boston...I am soooo ready to get back home to all of my family!  We will be back on Father's Day.
