Can you recommend your monitor? We had to buy a second one for Levi's room, we don't need a video monitor or angelcare, so we bought a cheap Fisher Price Sounds and Light one...and it's just that, cheap! The base is in his room and our family room is basically right below his room, it beeps at me saying the receiver is too far away! We need one with two receivers and we don't want to spend a ton on it
Re: Monitors
We have the Sony Baby Call monitor and really like it. We take it to Michigan with us and here's a funny story, we dropped the receiver in the lake. Once DH retrieved it, I thought for sure it was done. Nope! It worked just fine. It also has a great range.
I think we started out with a Graco monitor and it crapped out after a couple months so I'm happy this one has lasted.

Another rec for the Sony Baby Call - we just have the one receiver one but it's worked out great for us!
We do on one of the channels, but we found one that works. We have a ridiculous # of electronics next door to B's room too... no issues except when one of us uses a cell phone too close to the receiver.
Anyway, we really like the Baby Call monitor- great monitor for the price!
