BPF 8 days past trigger...real or not?

I triggered on CD16 which was last Wednesday. AF is due this Friday. (26 day cycle) I used a DG test Sat. and Sun.BFN.Yesterday FRER, which was BFN, but after i got home from work 7+ hrs later it was showing positive...same with FRER i took lastnight....it was showing positive several hours later. Since i am a POAS addict, i did a regular EPT test this morning....it was negative, but then after doing some googling i decided to use my last FRER>>>>>it instantly had 2 lines. My concern is that maybe the Trigger may possibly be in my system and the FRER is picking that up. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the same brand for all of these tests, I know you've mentioned FRER's but IMO if you've gotten a neg at least once (either with FMU or urine held for at least 4-5 hours or so) I'd call your dr and ask if they'd be willing to do betas or to see what they thought of the situation.  GL!

8 days past trigger? That's like 6 dpo. I wouldn't think it's a BFP at 6 dpo.

Triggers can last 7-10 days so you may want to wait until after 10 to test again to get a more accurate reading.  Good luck!

I was still showing positive until 10DPT.

I'd keep testing to see if you get a negative and than a true positive or if you never get a negitive. But as Colleen said 6dpo is to early the HCG is still in your system from the trigger.

Word of advise it takes 1000 a day to leave your system so if you took 10,000 units that would be about 10 days.

My friend is going to be using the trigger next cycle and her doctor said not to test until 14 days after the trigger.   I know someone that thought she had a positive test and she started testing at 9 days past the trigger and it continued to look positive through 12 days or more and she finally did a blood test and got a negative on the blood test.

Your definitely really early.  If you are only about 6 DPO, implantation most likely hasn't even happened yet, and even if it did, there wouldn't have been enough time for there to be enough HCG in your system from a pg to show on a test.

Beta tomorrow. I am not 6DPO. i triggered on 18th, but follies had already started to rupture.

I cannot comment on the DPO thing but if you were reading tests hours after taking them, they are invalid and not BFPs. I would just hang tight until tomorrow for you beta. GL!

If you triggered on the 18th (CD 16) than you would be 7dpo today and only 6dpt.

Again the beta might come back positive as if you took 10,000 units for a trigger than it could still be in your system. I don't know why your RE is testing your besta before 2 weeks.. I don't want you to get your hopes up and have the number be high and than go down if your not pregnant.
