Update on U/S

I just got back from an unexpected U/S.  According to my MP I should be 6w2d.  However when they did the U/S they only found what they think might be a sac.  They had to do a vaginal, as they didn't see anything on the regular.  The sac measures about 4w which I guess is possible as I look at my calendar and when I most likely ovulated.  So they did HCG testing and are trying to rule out an ectopic (I don't know how likely this is as I haven't experienced any pain).  I'll find out the results tomorrow.  Going back for my first official O/B visit on the 6th, and they are doing another U/S that day.

Has anyone else had this experience?  I'm trying to keep my thoughts positive and praying that it is just early...thoughts??

When I had my ectopic, i was not having any pain. Just numbers that didnt double, and some brown spotting.

Sounds like my story

I went in when I thought I was 6 weeks and a few days the didnt see a thing just the gestational sac. Then I went in four days later and they saw a yolk that measured 5 weeks no fetal pole. They thought it was an ectopic but I went in  this Monday and they found the fetus and heartbeat measuring 6w 1d.  I ovulated late I guess. Youll be fine your story is just like mine.
